The Tarka Tennis Centre is located in Barnstaple, Devon and runs an extensive tennis programme for all ages & standards. Players from the ages of 3-70 years young can find tennis to suit them.

Tarka is a 12 court tennis facility, 6 indoor & 6 outdoors. The indoor courts are split into two half's, with three courts in each section. Watching tennis at Tarka couldn't be easier. Indoors there is a balcony running through the two halls & also large viewing windows in the lounge area allowing spectators to watch while relaxing in the lounge.

Down by the courts are toilets & changing rooms with information boards running alongside. There is a disabled lift up onto the balcony area and a number of other facilities including a guest lounge/bar. Anyone can play at Tarka you do not have to be a member.

Further Information: There are Coaching Programmes to suit all standards and these run throughout the week in the day & evening.
Features: There are two televisions set up high so you can listen to music or the sports action. The reception area is linked to the bar where you can purchase hot & cold drinks. Rackets & balls can also be purchased from here. Near the reception there are some vending machines for drinks or snacks.
