Saffron Walden Museum

Saffron Walden Museum is located in the lovely medieval market town of Saffron Walden and welcomes over 20,000 visitors a year, including families, groups, researchers and over 5,000 school children.

The museum has a lot of collections that includes archaeology and early history of the area, through to displays of decorative arts, costume & toys. There is also the ruin of the 12th century Walden Castle in the grounds
