Wimpole Gardens

Wimpole Gardens are set in the grounds of the Wimpole Estate, located in the heart of the English countryside. The gardens provide an interesting look into the history of English Gardening from 1690 to 1830.

From 1693 to 1700 the 2nd Earl of Radnor created an elaborate formal garden, and the last important changes to the landscape, were made by Humphry Repton, for the 3rd Earl of Hardwicke between 1801 and 1809.
