Wongarra Heights Guesthouse is set high on a bluff surrounded by panoramic ocean views, and open farmland. Great for walking, fishing, photography or just relaxing. Built in the 1890's, Wongarra Heights Guesthouse has had an interesting history.
A guesthouse since the early 1900's, later a telephone exchange, and a post office and in 1971, when it reverted to a private farmhouse. History repeated itself in 1989 when it was re-opened as tea rooms and a guesthouse catering for maximum of 11 in-house guests. This quiet guesthouse is renowned for its views, warm hospitality and spectacular sunsets and sunrises. LeeAnne also provides light lunches and Devonshire teas which alone are worth the detour.
The accommodation comprises of five double bedrooms which shared two bathrooms and is ideal for special interest groups such as bushwalkers, photographers, painters, bird watchers and fishermen.
