Jersey Arts Centre

The Jersey Arts Centre, located in the main town of St Helier, promotes all the arts, from dance, to theatre to fine arts. The building houses an intimate air-conditioned theatre, capable of seating 250 people in a steeply raked auditorium, which offers excellent visibility.

The Berni Gallery & Bar Gallery are great places to view an eclectic selection of constantly changing exhibitions, permanently open to the public for free. You can relax in the bar area with a cup of coffee and cake and admire the art work.

The Art Centre houses a number of rooms for hire, including meeting rooms, an art studio and a fully equipped dark room, available to individuals or groups of up to three people.

The Youtheatre company is aimed at young people aged 14 to 19, who are seriously interested in theatre and meet for free every Wednesday evening between 6pm-8pm. The Art Centre run a diverse range of art, craft, music and performance, foreign language and theatre courses and workshops, aimed at all age groups.
