The Pakenham Racing Club was established in 1875, and ever since it's conception, the club has upgraded it's facilities and improved racing standards. The club houses more than 100 trainers and owner trainers prepare their horses at the club.
The Pakenham Racing Club offers a restaurant and entertainment venue called the "Racers Entertainment Complex".
The racecourse is a popular venue for various picnic and parties, and the club conducts two meetings a year on the course, and the New Years day celebrations is one of the biggest in Victoria.
