Southside Bed&Breakfast

ETB 4* - Southside is a comfortable house built in the late 19th century with a self-contained annexe, which is a recent addition. The house is set in two acres of paddocks with pretty south facing gardens and secluded patios. It enjoys wonderful panoramic views over adjoining farmland. Southside is a wonderful base from which to explore the locality.

We offer 1 double en-suite bedroom,1 twin en-suite bedroom, 1 double and 1 single bed en-suite room, situated in the annexe, contains plenty of seating and wardrobe and drawer space. There is a pretty en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities, together with a colour television, ensure you will have a comfortable stay. The annexe is centrally heated throughout and guests may enjoy the use of a quiet reading room with wood burning stove.

Guests are welcome to choose a cooked breakfast which normally includes local sausages and bacon, free range eggs, tomatoes (grown in the greenhouse when in season), mushrooms and toast or fried bread, or a continental style breakfast which includes toast or croissants, home made jams produced from fruit grown in the garden, local honey, marmalade, a choice of cereals, yoghurts, fruit juice and of course tea or coffee. Breakfast may be taken on the patio during the summer months.
