Colchester Zoo

Colchester Zoo is a fantastic, world-class zoo located in the heart of Colchester, Essex, and offers serious fun for the whole of the family, and provides the visitor with a fantastic experience, where you can view the world's most exciting animals.

The zoo houses over 200 species of animals, many of these are classified as endangered or vulnerable species. 41 species at Colchester are part of the European Endangered species breeding programmes.
