Based on the lower Firth of Clyde, Talisman Offshore Services have provided marine services around the Scottish coast for over 25 years. Specialising in the operation of work, safety and guard boats, the charter of survey launches and crew / passenger transport we now also offer eco and bird watching cruises.
Our passenger vessel 'Semper Vigilo' is a fast Nelson semi - displacement launch, 42 ft / 13 metres in length, and Licensed under the MCA Code of Practice Regulations as a Category 2 Vessel. This permits the carriage of up to 12 passengers up to 60 miles offshore.
'Semper Vigilo' is powered by 2 Perkins Sabre marine diesel engines providing a total of 530 HP and providing a cruising speed of 17 knots. She is comprehensively equipped with navigation aids including 36 mile radar, echo sounders, GPS navigation and electronic chart plotting. Safety equipment is to a very high standard. The vessel has a well-equipped galley, a sea toilet and two comfortable saloons with warm air heating throughout.
