Portsmouth's Naval Base remains as much a centre of the Royal Navy's activities as ever. It is the home of Britain's three aircraft carriers (HMS Illustrious, HMS Ark Royal and HMS Invincible) plus a large fleet of destroyers, frigates; mine warfare ships, offshore patrol vessels, and assorted other naval craft.

Take a 45-minute tour around Portsmouth Harbour aboard a modern and comfortable boat. Enjoy the lively commentary and licensed bar whilst savouring the fabulous views across the harbour. A harbour tour is included free with an all-inclusive ticket or a season ticket. Separate tickets can also be purchased for just the harbour tour and are sold from the white kiosk on the jetty.

When you purchase your tickets you will be told the times of the boat trips and they will also be posted up by the kiosk, along with the ships in port. Just pick a time and turn up on the jetty 10 - 15 minutes before the boat is due to depart. Enjoy a leisurely 45-minute boat cruise around Portsmouth Harbour and see today's modern warships, including aircraft carriers when in port.
