Cairnryan House, a traditional Scottish home built in 1894 situated adjacent to the shore of Loch Ryan with uninterrupted views across the loch to the Irish Sea.

We are just 500 metres from the Cairnryan ferry terminal and less than five minutes from the neighbouring Stranraer terminal. P&O ferry sailings from Cairnryan offer the shortest crossing to Northern Ireland.

We offer guests a range of comfortable non-moking bedrooms, three double rooms, one family, a twin and a single room. All of the rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms alongside a range of amenities including central heating, a television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities to make you feel at home. Some rooms have an additional seating area and CD/DVD player.

Additional facilities include a guest lounge with wireless internet, a licensed restaurant serving drinks, lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals, alongside a beautiful front garden and off road car parking for up to 10 cars.

Restaurant/Bar
Breakfast - A selection of cereals, yoghurts, bread & fruit are provided along with a home cooked breakfast made to traditional Scottish recipes using locally farmed produce including local eggs, bacon, haggis, black pudding, fruit pudding, lorn sausage, potato meal scones & traditional Scottish oatmeal porridge. If you have special dietary needs, let us know and we'll do our best to meet your requirements. Breakfast is served from 07.45-09.00 with earlier breakfasts by prior arrangement. If you booked on one of the very early ferries we can provide a continental breakfast to take with you. Evening Meals - served between 6:00pm and 7:00pm fine unhurried dining and licensed so you can enjoy a beer or wine with your meal. We advise you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Further Information
The area provides plenty to do for all ages, from day trips to Northern Ireland (we have extensive information on Belfast), day excursions to Ayrshire, Burns Cottage, the home of Robert Burns, Golf at Turnberry, and boat trips to Ailsa Craig, home of the Curling Stone. Within a short drive are a number of beautiful gardens protected by the warm gulf stream that frequents the area, forest walks and nature reserves. 5 minutes walk away is the bird watching area at Cairn Point frequented by many seeking a view of the King Eider and other rare seabirds.
