JONGLEURS (Portsmouth)

Portsmouth's Jongleurs occupies one of the prime positions in the city's most prestigious site, the multi-million pound Gunwharf Quays development. The venue, which includes Bar~Risa, is on the waterfront, surrounded by scores of upmarket shops, including factory outlets for numerous designer brands.

Bar~Risa is a light airy cafe bar based on two floors, with a patio and balcony. Jongleurs is a huge, dramatically designed and decorated club area. The club is licensed to hold 740 people and there is mobile seating for 420 people. The venue has been used for a wide variety of events including band nights, fashion shows, discos and stage presentations.

Audio and lighting equipment in Jongleurs is suitable for all events including bands and DJs. Bar~Risa is suitable for DJs only. The stage is fully mobile with extra units available to create any size required. There is full disabled access.
