The Bridgewater Hall is situated in Manchester's city centre, just a short stroll from the main shopping area.
Bridgewater is a £42 million international concert venue hosting over 250 performances a year alongside numerous conferences. The Bridgewater Hall was opened in September 1996 and has been home to the Halle Orchestra, and is a regular venue of the BBC Philharmonic and Manchester Camerata.
The hall seats up to 2,400 people, and hosts a spectacular pipe organ with 5,500 pipes. Up and coming acts for 2007 include Van Morrison and Don Mclean.
