Kanangra-Boyd National Park is a park of rugged and dramatic grandeur, with vast gorges, high lookouts, and wild and scenic rivers such as the Kowmung.

This park is part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. Thurat Spires, Kanangra Walls and Mount Cloudmaker provide sandstone scenery on a majestic scale.

For experienced bushwalkers there are many opportunities for extended walks and backpack camping. Families will enjoy car-based camping at the Boyd Crossing, where wildlife abounds.
