The mighty Nymboida River with its rainforest lined banks and spectacular granite gorges is the main feature of this park. It is a world famous and challenging white-water area where two wild rivers, the Nymboida and the Mann, meet. The river's exciting rapids are renowned among white-water enthusiasts, and rafting is certainly the best way to fully appreciate the stunning beauty of the river.

The park also contains Norman W Jolly Memorial Grove - Magnificent stand of tallowwood & coachwood rainforest and Platypus Flat & The Junction - Picnic, swimming and camping (fees apply/no caravan access).

Nymboi-Binderay National Park lies north of Dorrigo and comprises part of the former Wild Cattle Creek, Clouds Creek and Kangaroo Creek state forests. Rainforest and extensive old-growth forest provide habitat for a variety of threatened fauna.It includes patches of the rare Dorrigo white gum.

Getting There
25 km north of Dorrigo From Cascade, take the Tyringham or Moses Rock Roads and turn onto Moonpar Road (unsealed; 4WD vehicle required in wet weather). Access to the northern part of the park is on Black Mountain Road via Grafton, Nymboida or Glenreagh (unsealed; 4WD only).
