The Front Sk8 Park

First opened in July 2001, the result of a three-year campaign organised by local parents and young people, The Front Sk8park is one of the UK's top outdoor extreme sports venues for BMX, Skateboards and Rollerblades.

The Front Sk8park facilities include a 1st Aid Officer, a shop offering snacks and drinks, clean toilets, a pool table, lockers, rollerblades and Sk8boards to rent, helmets and safety equipment to rent, a range of spare and repair parts to buy and Eafos clothin to buy.

The Front is a not-for-profit community project, which would not have been possible without the support of Weymouth Skatepark Association's wide range of funders. The Front Sk8park site is leased to Weymouth Skatepark Association on a peppercorn rent by Weymouth & Portland Borough Council.
