Route 66

Route 66 opened in November 1996 in Palmerston Road, Southsea and soon became infamous for being the south coasts premier party venue.

The club is comprised of two floors. The main floor was at ground level, which held many dance areas including the four areas, which surrounded the central bar, and the raised DJ booth, which over looked the whole venue.

The basement area is the smaller chill-out section of the club. This floor houses a couple of dance areas, a casual seating area as well as a cocktail type bar. The basement is a great location for those private parties for birthdays, anniversaries of any other celebratory occasions. Hiring this area out for the night also gave all your guests entry to the main ground level club for no additional charge.
