Tomb of the Eagles is situated on the Orkney Islands to the north of Scotland.
The museum focuses on the 'Tomb of the Eagles', which was discovered by farmer Ronald Simison in 1958 and is believed to be around 5000 years old. In 2001, the artefacts, including the bones of 340 people, animal bones, ceremonial and working tools, potter and beads were moved to a new visitor centre, which visitors are allowed to handle during guided talks.
The tour also offers a rare opportunity for visitors to learn about life in Orkney 2500 years ago at the Bronze Age Site. Visitors are able to following the magnificent cliff top trail around the mesmerising Tomb site, enjoying the wildlife and scenery along the way.
