Tower hill is a volcanic formation believed to have erupted 30 000 years ago.

Flora & FaunaThe revegetation of Tower Hill has provided new habitats for many animals. You may see koalas, emus, kangaroos, magpie geese, echidnas, and possums, as well as waterbirds.

The vegetation of Tower Hill was originally very diverse, consisting of manna gum, blackwood, black wattle, swamp gum and drooping sheoak. However, early settlers soon removed much of the vegetation in the Warrnambool area, and it wasn't long before Tower Hill met with the same fate.
