Coopracambra National Park

Coopracambra National park is one of the most remote sections of Victoria and remains largely undisturbed. The red sandstone gorge of the Genoa River and the surrounding granite peaks form some outstanding scenery. The 35,000 ha. park protects high conservation values with undisturbed ecosystems, a heritage river, rare flora and fauna and diverse landscape values.

Flora & FaunaThe vegetation communities within the Park range from temperate rainforest to open eucalypt forests. These communities support a diverse range of flora and fauna, some of which are classified as significant. The Genoa River flows through the National Park and has been given heritage status due to the undisturbed nature of its surrounds.
