Just off Cape Conway, Repulse Islands National Park protects a small group of islands overlooking the Lindeman Group and the rugged Conway Range.

The islands and surrounding waters are part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area and are protected. The park has and abundance of flora and fauna for nature lovers to experience as well as beautiful beaches to enjoy.

Enjoy Camping on Repulse Island National Park. The small camping area in a sheltered bay at West Beach (South Repulse Island) has a good anchorage. Campers must be self-sufficient. Take fresh water, a fuel stove for cooking and insect repellent. Open fires and generators are prohibited. Remove all rubbish to the mainland.

This national park includes the islands South, North and East Repulse Islands.

*Access is by private boat only *From 1 October to 31 March seasonal bird restrictions apply. You must observe a 6-knot speed limit within 200m of high water mark and no beach access is permitted within the seabird nesting area at the southern end of West Beach *Beware of marine stingers and cyclones during the warmer months
