From a lookout platform you can watch the river plunge 210 metres at Boonoo Boonoo Falls. Swimming in the river is popular in summer. Flora & FaunaIn spring a profusion of flowering plants, such as boronia, banksia and grevillea, brightens the woodlands of this granite country.

With such diversity in the way of flora many animals make this park there home. Some include the Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog, Common Eastern Froglet, Wedge-tailed Eagle, Collared Sparrowhawk, Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Red-browed Treecreeper, Grey Fantail, Laughing Kookaburra, Lewin's Honeyeater, Eastern Bristlebird, Powerful Owl, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby, Yellow-bellied Glider, Eastern Small-eyed Snake & Red-throated Skink.
