Two major rivers, the Severn and the Macintyre, meet in this park. The sculpted granite gorge and plunge pools at Macintyre Falls are a feature. The park protects regionally important woodlands of white cypress-pine, box and ironbark.

You can enjoy riverside camping, fishing, picnicking, birdwatching and bushwalking along scenic walking tracks.

The camping area beside the Severn River at Lemon Tree Flat will suit car-based and caravan camping, and there are toilets, fireplaces and shelter sheds.

In wet weather check road conditions in Ashford, or phone the Glen Innes office or local police.
