A rare high-country wetland - a stopping place for the migratory Japanese snipe and home to many other waterbirds. There are plenty of opportunities for birdwatching, picnicking, walking and photography.
View the birdlife from the hide at the edge of the water. There are no marked walking tracks but it is possible to walk around the lagoon. The viewing platform is accessible by wheelchair from the adjacent carpark near the golf course.
The park has public toilets and picnic tables with BBQ facilities. Some parts of the park are accessible by wheelchair, but for more disability information please check the parks website.
