Middle Gorge Park

With a 250 metre river frontage, Middle Gorge Park has spectacular views of Plenty Gorge and its River. Open spaces for creative play and walking trails leading down into the gorge make this an interesting park for the whole family.

Flora & FaunaThe park has become an oasis for many native fauna species including kangaroos, swamp wallabies, echidnas, possums and sugar gliders. Native kangaroo grass provides food for some of these mammals.

From the smallest insect turning the soil to the Sulphur-crested Cockatoos living in the hollows of dead trees and platypus foraging in the river for fish and yabbies, life in the Gorge is teeming.
