Camooweal Caves National Park features extensive dolomite caves in dry woodland and Mitchell grassland setting. For well-equipped and experienced cavers only. Visit only in Dry.

Sinkhole openings that dot the landscape of Commerweal National Park are the only clues to the natural beauty of the elaborate cave systems that lie beneath the surface.

Open Eucalypt Woodlands occur on the red earth areas, Turpentine Wattle and Spinifex Grass are also dominant. Ghost Bats and other insect eating bats bats roost emerging only after dark. Owls feed on long haired rats. Most animals that live here rest during the day to avoid the heat.
