Mount Connor (Atila) is a 700 million year old sand and rock table top mountain, or mesa which is located south-west of Petermann. It stands alone, majestic towering up out of the desert and is hence often mistaken for Uluru.

It is a similar size to Uluru, actually some locals argue that it is bigger. Uluru, however, is famous because it is a monolith which Mount Connor is not. It lies in a direct line with Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

Great views of Mount Connor can be afforded from a lookout just 11 km east of Curtin Springs. Enroute to Mount Connor along the Lasseter Highway, 55 km from Erldunda, lies the friendly road stop of Mt Ebenezer.
