Various walks leave the visitor areas, such as the 8.5 km Washpool Walk, which takes you on a trip through the main forest types. The Coombadjha Walk is a good introduction to the park - an easy 1.5 km circuit walk with educational signs and creek-side scenery.

Flora & FaunaThis is a rainforest park of World Heritage importance, with lush plant life that includes Australian red cedars and the world's largest stand of coachwood trees.

Animals that inhabit the park include Red-eyed Tree Frog, Lesueur's Frog, Leaf Green Tree Frog, Brown-striped Frog, Pouched Frog, Giant Barred Frog, Loveridge's Frog, Red Goshawk, Rufous Scrub-bird, Bush Stone-curlew, Forest Raven, Olive Whistler, Turquoise Parrot, Powerful Owl, Brush-tailed Phascogale, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Parma Wallaby & the Red-legged Pademelon.
