Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park is a 15,493 hectares and access to the eastern boundary is along the sealed Yallingup/Augusta Caves Road. Access to the southern portion is by sealed Bussell Highway to Augusta. Within the Park all two wheel drive roads are gravel & four wheel tracks are rough. There is also a bus service to and from Perth.

The vegetation is Coastal Heath, Jarrah/Marri woodlands, & Karri Forest. Expect to see Forest Western Grey Kangaroo, Brush Wallaby, also Possums, Pascogales and Bush Rats. Migratory ocean Birds and Rockhopper Penguins are also seen.

General camping is not permitted in the Park. Back-pack camping elsewhere in the park except on the beach or at picnic sites at Quarry Bay with Barbeque table. No water or toilets.

Further Information
Spring to late Summer is the best time to visit. Fishing from coastal rocks can be dangerous due to unpredictable 'King' waves. Limestone cliffs are very crumbly.
