Formally the site of the Bellangry State Forest Number 1 Fire Tower. The lookout was used to spot bushfire smoke in summer.

This magnificent lookout offers sweeping views of the catchment and forests stretching all the way to the coast. The lookout & picnic area is located in The Bellangry State Forest which is approximatley a 30 minute drive from Wauchope. The site has a long cultural history, which is central in the development of the timber industry in the area.

Getting There: From Wauchope head out on Pembroke Road, turn left into Beechwood Road towards Beechwood. Before Beechwood is a right hand turn into Bellangry Road, follow this road through the villages of Mortons Creek and Bellangry. This roads becomes unsealed and part of Hastings Forest Way. Access to No.1 Tower can be found 1km off this road from Five Ways Junction.
