Gundabooka National Park is a place of rugged cliffs, gorges and hills, formed from rust-coloured rocks more than 385 million years old. The main feature is the Gunderbooka Range, which rises to 500 metres at Mount Gunderbooka. The park is of great significance to the Ngemba people and the range has a history of ceremonial gatherings and rock art.
From Little Mountain, enjoy the view of the northern escarpment of the Gunderbooka Range. A new day-use area is being developed at Bennetts Tank which will ultimately be a stepping-off point for a trek to the top of Mt Gundabooka.
