This park is the focal point of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage area, which has a record of Aboriginal life stretching back over 60,000 years.
The remarkable Walls of China, 33 kilometres crescent shaped dune of orange and white earth formations, is a striking feature of the park. Wind and water have carved spectacular fragile formations of sand and clay. Erosion has uncovered extensive evidence of the Aboriginal occupation of this area.
Explore the backwoods on the drive-tour loop with many birds and animals species to view.
