The Park, comprising of 140 ha., commemorates the Mounted Riffle Regiments and the legendary Light Horse and is a heritage area. Training on these hills a century ago, they laid the foundations of the present Australian Army.

The walking trails are for both people and horses. Anzac Hill provides panoramic views and the picnic area is set on the edge of the creek under huge old gum trees.

Chittick Park The reserve is used predonimantly for sporting purposes. There are two formal ovals, club buildings, netball courts, athletics facilities and a tennis complex. The Seymour Leisure Centre resides within the Park. picnic area is set on the edge of the creek under huge old gum trees.

Goulburn Park The park is located in Progress Street on the banks of the Goulburn River. The beautiful setting has a car park, picnic tables, BBQs, toilets and a boat ramp. It is an ideal spot for picnics, fishing, boating and rafting. Horseshoe Lagoon Set on the Goulburn River, it is famous for its waterbirds, ibis rookery and musk ducks. It has a camping area with toilets and is popular for fishing. Kings Park Located in Tallarook Street, Kings Park is home to the Seymour Agricultural Show, Seymour Alternative Farming Expo, The Historical Society, Girl Guides and the Seymour Memorial Pool. It also has a number of sporting club uses - netball, cricket and football.

Lions Park - New Crossing Place The park is in the vicinity of the old punt crossing place over the Goulburn River prior to the construction of the first bridge. It has a boat ramp, fishing platform, picnic tables, BBQs and toilets set next to the river amongst huge old gums. Hughes Creek Has a glorious gorge and rock pools, koalas, trout, cod, long nosed bandicoots, falcons, eagles and massed wattles in spring. It has a camping area with toilets and you can fish, swim and go rafting.
