Booderee National Park and Booderee Botanic Gardens are 80 hectares in area including both natural vegetation and cultivated sections surrounding Lake McKenzie, a natural freshwater lake. Located in Jervis Bay, NSW.
The National Park and Botanic Gardens were handed back to the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community in 1995.
Today, whilst maintaining close links with the ANBG, the Booderee Botanic Gardens are developing greater independence as a Botanic Gardens with an emphasis on the coastal flora of southeastern Australia. This national park and gardens are great for camping, bushwalking and more!
