At Firepower! The Royal Artillery Museum you can discover the powerful and dramatic story of artillery, scientific discoveries made during warfare and human stories of courage and endeavour, over the past 700 years.
Get an insight into the battlefield, during the 'ground shaking' Field of Fire audio-visual show, as shells whiz overhead and guns roar mid battle. See displays of coins, medals and uniforms, exhibits depicting weapons and war, as well as science and technology.
Until recently The Royal Arsenal was a well kept secret from the public and was one of the most important centres in the world for munitions manufacture. The Arsenal is a significant part of local history, as many of the guns and carriages on display were made here.
Hold your child's birthday party here and have fun dressing up and applying camouflage face paint. Eat party food, play paint ball, join in military drilling and go on the rolling rock climbing wall (an additional charge of £1 per child).
