Venman Bushland National Park and adjoining Daisy Hill Forest Park are remnants of bushland on Brisbane's southern outskirts and an extremely important Koala habitat. With open eucalypt forest once typical of the greater Brisbane area its no wonder the parks are rich in diversity. Visitors can relax in the serenity of both these parks & discover the range of activities you can enjoy while visiting.

Within the parks there are tracks for walking, bike riding and horse riding, with facilities for picnics and BBQs, as well as the Koala Centre. Dogs are allowed on leads in some areas of the parks, but visitors should check the map on the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service website using the link below for the correct entrances to use.

Together with Daisy Hill and a few other bushland remnants, Venman Bushland National Park is an important koala habitat. The Koala Coast, extending from the Gateway Motorway east to Moreton Bay and south to the Logan River, contains up to 5000 koalas, the largest suburban koala population in Australia.
