Bognor Regis Golf Club was established in 1892 with two 9-hole courses. In 1922 the club settled at its present 18-hole course at Innerwyke; a place once described as "charming, peaceful and rustic spot".
James Braid planned the course and F G Hawtree constructed it. Within easy reach of the sea and with views of the South Downs, the course presents a challenge for the ablest of golfers; its fairways being divided by a mix of hedges, trees, streamlets and the whole being bounded by a waterway, the Aldingbourne Rife.
The newly refurbished flint-walled barn clubhouse and extension contain a well-stocked and welcoming bar and dining room and exemplary changing facilities. A two-table snooker facility is always available.
