Lydford House

This attractive Bed & Breakfast contains a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Dartmoor National Park. The property is located in 8 acres of delightful gardens and pastureland in the historic village of Lydford on the Devon/Cornwall border.

The rooms include 2 singles, 2/3 doubles, 2/3 twins and 2 family rooms; all are ensuite apart from one single room, which has a private bathroom. All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers, coloured TV, etc. A twin ground floor room is available. There are also two superior quality rooms available, one of which has a four-poster bed. The house is surrounded by extensive gardens and grounds, which you are free to make use of during your stay.

The property contains stables that offer a holiday for you and your horse. There are 10 stables, a sand school, tack room, stalls and paddocks for your use. There is ample parking for lorries / horse boxes. Other facilities include The 'Widgery's Rest' licensed tearooms. The ideal place to refresh yourselves after enjoying the delights of Dartmoor National Park. You can also receive info on various walking trails, enjoy a relaxing artists break, or hire bikes.
