Higher Coombehead House is a delightful thatched house with gardens, located A short drive from the A30 with direct access to the Moor. The House is a house with history. A date of 1662 shows on one of the outer walls, and most of the letting rooms are in a wing that was originally a chapel.
All rooms are equipped with colour TV. refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. There are 2 doubles, each with an en-suite shower room, and one twin room with large private bathroom, which has far reaching views and a spacious corner bath.
The charming garden features a model railway, which traverses a small rock garden amid miniature conifers and various ground cover plants. Built to 16mm scale narrow gauge, it is predominantly steam operated on 0 gauge track and extends to almost 100 yards.
