- At the Outer Reef, a range of exciting optional activities are also available to enhance your reef experience including: · Introductory scuba diving · Certified Scuba Diving · Marine Biologist guided snorkel tours · Oceanwalker helmet diving · Scenic helicopter flights. Cruises depart daily from Port Douglas at 10am, returning at 4.30pm. Luxury coach transfers are available from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas accommodation. Pick-up times will be advised at time of booking. For guests joining the cruise from Cairns or the Northern Beaches, the coach journey with commentary along one of Australia's most beautiful scenic coastal drives, is another highlight of the day.

We have done both the outer reef and Low Isles with Quicksilver. Both were great days though we enjoyed the low isles better. Didn't take as long to get to, so more time snorkelling, smaller vessel so less people and saw over a dozen green turtles!
