Macarthur Grange Country Club is situated on the boarder of Camden and Campbelltown, in the Macarthur District of Sydney, only 35 minutes from the CBD on the M5 Freeway. The land that the golf course partly occupies was used for beef cattle owned by the Taccas, but, the late Paul Tacca, Frank and Clem decided to create a unique and spectacular course on the undulating land that commands one of the best unobstructed views of the entire Sydney skyline.
The golf course sits in a horseshoe shaped valley, the holes wind their way through the hilly terrain and each hole has a distinctive character all of its own. The course is a links style layout. There are a number of blind holes and a strong emphasis on strategic shot placement. The native long rough characterizes the true links layout.
