A gorgeous little Tea Room seating 28 people on tables of four inside and two further tables for four outside. Sharing a table with others is common practice here and many holiday friendships have been formed over a Cornish Cream Tea. The Staff help make the friendly homely atmosphere, offering toys to keep the children amused and local knowledge that can't be found in any tourist books.

We serve over 40 different teas! The home made cakes are one the reasons people queue to get in, but the snack menu is large offering soups, salads, jackets potatoes, and varied sandwiches including local white crab. Choices of Wheat and gluten products like our Lemon and fresh Raspberry Polenta cake are always available.

Our Cream Teas are hugely popular, two freshly baked warm scones are served with a dish of strawberry jam, a dish of clotted cream, pot of tea and extra hot water. We have other jams available and will serve any drink with our cream teas so everyone can enjoy the experience.

Getting There
Set in the heart of 'downalong' with its crazy little cobbled streets, amid the artist studios we nestle at the corner of 'Back Road West', and 'The Digey',beside the main surfing beach 'Porthmeor' and about 100 yards from The Tate. Most people first stumble apon us and then wanting another visit they still have to ask directions as they wind their way in the maze of little streets! The nearest car park is "Barnoon" & requires a walk down into town, disabled parking (unmarked) is available on the road over looking Porthmeor Beach. Other car parks near by and on roughly the same level as us are 'The Sloop', The Island, and Smeatons Pier. Driving and parking is not for the faint hearted. Recommend parking at the 1000 space car park, taking the special bus and walking through the town.
Awards
In the 'The Top 100 Tea Rooms' book for 2004, 2005 and 2006. Mentioned in 'The Sunday Telegraph Magazine' as the best place for a cream tea in St. Ives, but the best of all the awards we can recieve is that people keep coming back, Once a year, once a week and even every day.Thank you. We hope to see you again very soon.
