Bar espresso

Located in St. Albans, Bar Espresso is a Sicilian family run restaurant that offers a genuinely authentic Italian experience. As you walk through the door you are enveloped in a truly welcoming atmosphere, which is enhanced by the restaurant's warm, friendly and relaxed charm. Since opening in November 2004 we have cultivated a loyal customer base who have become part of the family.

Bar Espresso's authentic Italian menu offers something for everybody, from our speciality homemade Sicilian sausage to our wide range of pasta, pizza, meat and fish dishes; Vegetarians will find a wide selection of highly appetising options. To end the perfect meal our homemade Tiramisu will make your mouth water!

Our bookings policy is very simple; reserve a table for any time you want! Unlike other restaurants we do not run sittings system that requires a table to be free by a specified time; come in whenever you want, enjoy yourselves and we won't hurry you to leave. We are happy to take large party bookings or book-out the whole restaurant for an evening and we will provide a special party menu.

During the day Bar Espresso is run as a Sandwich Bar offering a wide selection of sandwiches that can be eaten in or taken away, the full restaurant menu is also available at lunchtime. In addition Bar Espresso offers a Business/Party buffet service, which we will deliver to you at a specified time. Please give us a call or drop in to discuss our buffet menu.
