Located in Kensington, The Hereford is described as a traditional English Country Inn in the centre of London! The pub dates back to the 1700's and is alleged to have been one of the drinking holes of Jack the Ripper. In more recent times it has always been a firm favourite with United States visitors since the Second World War, as US servicemen were stationed across the square in Hereford Place.

Today the pub has a wide selection of people from all walks of life as, for example, corporate business, students from the drama school nearby and local residents. The pub is all on one level, open plan with the non-smoking dining area separated by a wooden structure. The new outdoor seating area with heaters for colder days and electric canopies is a great spot to watch the world go by.

All food is freshly prepared and cooked to order to be eaten anywhere in the pub. Some particular favourites include the traditional beer battered fish & chips cooked to a Northern recipe and a home mixed Shepherds Pie with a touch of something special! There is also an excellent selection of red and white wines to accompany your meal or, if preferred, several real ales.
