Something Wild is situated 3km from Russell Falls in Mt. Field National Park. Something Wild is a rehabilitation and conservation sanctuary for orphaned and injured animals. We nurture our native wildlife back to good health and prepare them for eventual release. Something Wild also has a number of habitats for animals that are unsuitable for release or may have been bred in captivity where visitors may enjoy viewing these special animals.

Something Wild has a beautiful bushland setting incorporating habitats for many animals. These include cuddly koalas who currently have a Joey just emerging from the pouch. Also we have Wombats, Golden Possums, Squirrel Gliders, Pademelons, Bennetts Wallabies and Forester kangaroo's. We also incorporate Emu's, Masked Owls, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and other Australian parrots and much more in our habitat displays. Something Wild has also recently introduced Eastern Quolls to our wildlife family.
