Glanusk Farm is set peacefully on the banks of the River Usk midway between Usk and Abergavenny and enjoys the most glorious views down the Usk Valley and to the hills on either side. Built in the 17th century with two additions in 1974 and 1998, the house is now very large and the old rooms have all been refurbished to provide delightful and peaceful Bed and Breakfast accommodation.
With the rooms in the older part of the house being of cottage style, they do not lend themselves to en-suite facilities. A new large bathroom was added in the new wing, which contains a large roll-top bath, huge shower and the usual facilities. Access is via a few stairs down and then a few stairs back up again from the guest rooms, and is shared at maximum by two rooms.
Tea and coffee facilities are available in all of the rooms, as is a colour television set. A traditional English cooked breakfast is served in our beautiful large farmhouse kitchen, with views out over the garden and fields on one side and down to the sweeping River Usk on the other.
We are quite relaxed about the clock and have a very flexible approach to breakfast times - normally between 7:30 and 9:00 am on Weekdays, and 8:00 and 9:30 am on Weekends.
