Five Sisters Zoo Park is located in Polbeth just two miles east of West Calde, and is set within the Five Sisters Garden Centre. The zoo is the latest wildlife attraction to open in West Lothian and is ideally situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The zoo houses a wide variety of mammals, birds and reptiles from all over the world, such as Annie, the 36-year old golden eagle and Ollie the six-month old hand reared eagle owl, the Asian Otters, and the red fox. You will also see snowy owls, barn owls and a Bengal owl. There are many other birds to see, including kookaburra, parrots and many, many more.

The fantastic reptile house is now complete, housing a large selection of lizards, skinks and snakes. In the nocturnal section you will find spiders, tree frogs, giant millipedes, scorpions, skunks, and marbled polecats. Coming soon to the zoo are animals that will include black and white deer mice, black rough lemurs, a Phraye's beautiful squirrel, and some very cute sugar gliders and wallabies.
