The Orange Botanic Gardens are situated off Hill Street (or via Kearneys Drive) on the northen outskirts of Orange in a natural undulating 17 hectare site. The gardens feature impressive native and exotic plant collections.

Officially opened in 1988 for the Australian Bicentenary it has plantings ranging from the original homestead garden to newly developed displays. It is a wonderful recreation area for both residents and visitors and don't miss the Music in the Gardens held on Friday evenings in February and early March.

BYO picnic and relax to the beautiful sounds provided by the Orange Regional Conservatorium.
