Helen Laxton School of Dance

Founded in Yeovil, Somerset in 1987, The Helen Laxton School of Dance is led by school principal Helen Laxton. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance in London and a fully qualified, registered teacher, Helen spent several years dancing and teaching abroad, in London and Devon before moving to Somerset.

The school teaches Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, Imperial Society of Teachers Dance Modern Stage, Jazz, Disco and Tap dance. The school accepts girls and boys from two and a half years of age to adult.

Dance classes are held in Yeovil, Sherborne, Crewkerne, East Coker, Queen Camel, Yetminster, Chard, Somerton and Huish Episcopi.
