Restaurant Deco was opened in June 2006 by Derby born owner/chef, Stephen Brannan. Having travelled the world 4 times on the QE2 where he received the majority of his training as a chef, Steve returned to where his heart had always lived..his home town of Derby and began planning his dream to own his own restaurant. Since June 2006, the restaurant has developed a loyal base of regular customers who return over and over thanks to the quality of the cuisine and the personal, friendly and professional service provided. Steve is a traditional chef who approves of the current trend of numerous cooking programmes that have sharpened people's skills in the kitchen at home and their palates when dining out. He enjoys catering to today's discerning diner while still holding true to traditional sized portions that will leave you pleasantly satisfied while trying to decide which of the delicious dishes to pick next time you visit us.

Special Events: The A la Carte menu is devised monthly in conjunction with Head Chef, Gareth Kelk, to ensure we make the most of seasonal local produce available. All dishes are freshly made to order and we endeavour to cater for specific dietary requirements or special requests where possible. Most of our pasta dishes are home made on the pasta making machine gifted to our Head Chef by Gordon Ramsay! We are currently taking bookings for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Father's Day, Xmas parties and New Year. We offer a sit down menu or buffet meal for those special occasions you have to organise like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, awards ceremonies. For conferences or training events we can accommodate up to 200 delegates and offer the usual facilities.
Further Information: We are open Tues-Sat 5pm til late and Sundays 12pm til 3pm. The restaurant has been designed with access and facilities for disabled guests in mind and we can adapt the menu for families wishing to bring children to dine. We operate a responsible drinking policy and staff will be happy to arrange your onward taxi should you choose not to drive. Located close to the heart of the city centre we are 2 minutes drive and 5 minutes walk from the Friargate area of Derby. Our private car park is available for motoring guests.
